There’s a pastel hue in the sky as the sun slowly sinks towards the horizon on this late summer evening. The air is filled with the sounds of a party underneath olive trees and the smell of a hot day turning into a mild September night. Glasses clinking, laughter and music drifting, toasts and words of love and tales about friendship to the sound of crickets as the stars start to shine brightly in the now dark night sky.
Vanessa and Abel live in New York. They brought both their families and close friends to Italy for a destination wedding in Tuscany. They drove a Fiat 500 to a small local church and back. They held hands as they stood together as a married couple for the first time, they hugged their loved ones and cried happy tears over vows written and read in private. They laughed with their friends and danced the night away under the stars. It was a good day.
