I look down onto the streets of London. The sun reflects off windows and makes everything seem like a perfect little model world, moving figures and toy cars. Behind me in a suite of The Langham Hotel Jamie is busy doing everyone else’s hair whereas down the road at 28 Portland Place Ben is busy getting more and more nervous. Jamie and Ben had a proper London wedding. Think 1920s glamour and Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire in Top Hat, but with red envelopes for good luck and sneaky pictures in the rose garden of Regent’s Park.
From the first time I spoke with Jamie and Ben to the last minute of wiping away the odd tear or two after their speeches these two have blown me away with their generosity and pure joy for life and each other. With a healthy dose of intense organisational skills this was a celebration worthy of all the sparkles and bubbles. I’m glad I got to know you both.
A big thank you to Kate for being my second set of hands on the day.
