When you think of Hong Kong, you think of giant buildings, crammed streets and millions of people. You do not think of nature, tropical plants, ocean and a cute little beach town paradise. But just a 30 minute taxi ride from the city centre you open the car door to exactly that – a tropical beach. It smelled like summer on a Spanish island, it looked like Thailand with big rocks jutting out into the sea and yet we were still in Hong Kong.
I took these two out very early for a morning shoot to avoid the crowds – and I’m so glad we did. Catherine and Matt showed me around their favourite spots in Shek O, we had some well deserved breakfast at a beach shack up the road and made our way back into the city for a detour up Bowen Road. Thank you for such a fantastic morning and this little glimpse into your world, you two. I wish you the most wonderful wedding day and all the happiness!
All shot on Fuji 400h and Kodak Portra 400, developed and scanned by the FIND lab.
