Matthew is the kind of guy that will surprise you when you’ve already decided it’s not going to happen. Which is a good starting point if you’re getting married. How do I know? After these two booked me to photograph their wedding at Barnsley House in May, Amy told me that she has got a hard time convincing Matthew to go for a portrait shoot ahead of time. But she’s working on it! A few months later I get an email from Matthew asking to book said engagement session in as a birthday surprise for Amy. So there we go.
A very happy Amy and Matthew took me on a little tour around their neighbourhood and we ended up taking some fantastic portraits in Greenwich, including the Cutty Sark and Naval College. Tourist spots in London can be really pretty, as it turns out!
All shot on film, Kodak Portra 800 and Contax 645, developed and scanned by the UK Film Lab.
