When I first met Emma and Iain in person it was -12 degrees and snowing so hard I didn’t actually see them until they stood right in front of me. There was one thing that a day of tumbling through the snow and eating Kaiserschmarrn together showed me – they are ace people.
I could not wait for their August wedding to come around and whilst we all lacked woolly hats I’m pretty certain that Emma and Iain had a lot more fun getting married at the Crazy Bear in Oxfordshire than sledding down a snowy mountain.
Emma wore the most fabulous Jenny Packham dress and had not one but two pairs of Jimmy Choos. One of them being sparkly high-tops. Not fair. The two of them met at Glastonbury and their common love of music showed in everything – from a festival-themed order of service, records as table names as well as a pretty rocking party well into the night.
It just so happens that their wedding is being featured on Rock My Wedding today, so if you’re curious about any more details and Emma’s thoughts behind the whole day, head on over.
