Somehow, some way, Sven managed to convince Gloralea to leave Australia behind and come live with him in North Germany. So this is where they live now, in a beautiful little village close to the coast. And when it was time to decide where to get married they didn’t have to look far. The Dom in Lübeck is the most beautiful cathedral and to say that I was excited about photographing a wedding in there would be understating it a little. Matching the grandeur of the cathedral with a reception at Herrenhaus Gut Bliestorf was a fantastic idea as well – it’s such a wonderful place.
With a whole group of Gloralea’s friends and family over from Australia the time between the ceremony and the reception was turned into an impromptu sightseeing tour of Lübeck. Once the sun set after a hot bright day in the city everyone returned to Gut Bliestorf for incredible food from the Restaurant Wullenwever, drinks on the lawn and dancing into the night. Congratulations you two and all the best for your future together as a family.
