Ishita and Matt got married a few weeks ago. Afterwards they went on a short honeymoon in the beautiful Lake District and, fortunately for me they asked if I would come up there to take a few photos of them.
“I just realised we wouldn’t have any photos of the two of us together on honeymoon.” Well, Ishita does have a point and as the sun was shining down through the trees upon my arrival I felt just a little bit lucky to have a few hours together with these two. We enjoyed their honeymoon hideaway the Love Shack (more like cool shack, I mean look at it!), ate some of their wedding cake, got good use out of Ishita’s evening wedding dress (including purple sparkly shoes) and Matt’s gift from his mother in law – a hand knitted space invaders jumper. We trudged through slightly boggy meadows, ruined a few pairs of shoes in said meadows and caught the last rays of sun down by the lake. It felt like a breath of fresh air.
Thank you for letting me share a little bit of time with you at this wonderful place. I will need a knitted space invaders cardigan at some point. Oh, and my sandals cleaned up just fine. :)

Beautiful shoot. I need to get some sparkly shoes. How lovely to have ‘honeymoon shots’.
Stunning shots of the couple, and of the Lake District. You haven’t shot the Ikea interior brochure in the past have you? Awesome.
