A few weeks ago a small miracle happened. I had a portrait shoot planned with Janina on a Thursday afternoon and it was rainy, freezing and windy outside. Then my phone rang – it was Janina, wanting to reschedule. We both agreed that the weather was probably not exactly perfect for hanging around outside anyway and decided to go a few days later. It was the only day both of us were available for another three weeks and as if we’d planned it it turned out to be the first day of sunshine and warmth we’ve had in Hamburg this year.
We couldn’t get enough of soaking up the rays and as we sat down on the warm grass a smell of summer and the sound of chirping birds lulled us into a lazy contentedness. Oh! We also took a few photos. Thanks for rescheduling, Janina. It could not have been a nicer day with you.

Wow Ann, that last portrait is absolutely stunning, I bet she’s thrilled with them all.
Das sind wunderschöne Portraitfotos. Ich übe mich gerade in Portraitfotos, das ist gar nicht immer so einfach. :) Dein Model ist sehr hübsch und unverkrampft, und die Athmosphäre scheint locker. Deine Fotos geben viel Inspiration. Das erste/oberste gefällt mir übrigens ganz besonders gut. Eine super Perspektive.
Thank you so much, Jo! She was super happy with them, what more can you ask for really!
Kristin – vielen Dank! Portraits sind in der Tat nicht einfach, daher freut es mich besonders wenn dir diese hier gefallen.
That’s the prettiest girl in Hamburg right there! Great job! They capture her beauty and the beauty of the first day of spring. Well done.
