Tina and Max said “Oui” under a bright hot sun in late September in the South of France, surrounded by olive trees and fabulous friends, lavender and families. I’ve known Max for over 10 years and that I ended up being free to come and take care of their wedding photography in the South of France was either an incredible stroke of luck or simply fate.
They took everyone who matters to them and spent a fantastic long weekend at the ever so wonderful Mas du Rey. With the help of Sylvia the wedding planner the whole place looked like a dream come true – and that’s kind of what it was.
Having met at a wedding in France it was always meant to be French wedding for Tina and Max. I couldn’t be more grateful to have been there for this, quite frankly, amazing day and to see these two so happy together. After a day full of joy, songs, the odd glass of Pernod to seal the everlasting love, bright coloured bows and pompoms and flowers on tables and heads, we watched the sun go down over the far hills of the Cévennes with smiley faces, digging into the delicious food (oh my word, the food!). Merci, Tina et Max!
Shot on film, Kodak Portra 400, 800 and Tri-X, scanned and developed by UK Film Lab. Big thanks goes to Marco for being my wingman on the day.
