Jennifer and John’s wedding at the Savoy in London was the first Jewish wedding I photographed – and as promised by Jennifer beforehand it was absolutely brilliant. Between the ceremony at the synagogue in Maida Vale and the Israeli dancing later in the grand ballroom of the Savoy in London I would be very hard pressed to tell you which part I enjoyed the most.
Jennifer is an incredible artist and managed to put her very own stamp on elaborate details such as her dress, vintage wallpaper confetti and hand-painted mini canvasses as place settings.
A big thank you goes to Kjrsten Madsen who helped me out on the day. Together with Jeff Wood who was filming the day we somehow managed to get stuck in and then come away unscathed from a dancefloor that was more alive than I’ve ever seen before. Good times!
Shot on film, all Kodak Portra 400 and Tri-X, developed and scanned by UK Film Lab.
