These two. What can I say? I could tell you about how sweet Lauren’s flowers smelled, how much her amazing flowing yet fitted dress suited her, or how much fun it was to hang out with her and the girls whilst Jodie Hazlewood worked her magic and we all looked through her mum’s wedding photos. Or how incredible St. Joseph and St. Helen church looked inside, with a nervous Andy waiting. And how the reverend had everyone crying, first from laughter and then from happiness for such a sweet couple. And I could go on to describe the amazing rhododendrons in the park behind Rowheath Pavilion that turned our portraits into some kind of tropical photoshoot, or the mouthwatering cakes Vickie from the Boutique Baking Company had prepared for the afternoon tea. I still think of those white chocolate brownies very fondly. I would have to mention the most brilliant idea of having a silent disco that brought everyone, and I mean everyone, out on the dancefloor at what barely counts as late afternoon. None of this would be as amazing as it was without this group of friends and families that kept on laughing, crying, eating, drinking, cheering and dancing with Lauren and Andy until late at night.
But in the end it doesn’t really matter. What matters is that Lauren and Andy have found and married their soulmate and I couldn’t be happier for them. Congratulations and all the best to both of you. Now and forever.
