Lyndsey and Kayyor had what I would undoubtedly, hands-down, describe as the best two-day-English-Indian wedding I have ever been to. This has nothing to do with the fact that I have not been to any other two-day-English-Indian weddings and everything to do with the fact that these two are fantastic. And so was their wedding.
On a freezing cold Friday in March all their friends and families turned up to what was meant to be the smaller, more intimate part of their wedding, the civil ceremony at The Olde Bell in Hurley. Yes, they were fewer people than on the following day; yes, it was a small civil ceremony with a wonderful meal and only a few speeches but there was nothing small about it. It was a day full of laughter and tears and joy for a couple so full of life that even the nastiest weather outside could not dampen anything but a few hairs on even fewer heads. Stay tuned for part two of the Lyndsey and Kayyor wedding extravaganza – it will be epic.
