Tall redwoods with golden midday sun shining brightly through their branches, colourful flowers and flavourful food, voices and laughter of happy people and in the middle of it Sonya and Rasa, two souls with a genuine connection. On my way home later that day I drove over the Bay Bridge looking at another beautiful sunset over San Francisco and a thought that had been stuck in my mind all day finally came up – this is why I’m here.
Sometimes it’s hard to put a finger on what exactly makes a day, a moment in time, a celebration, two people, two families, a ceremony into something wonderful. With Sonya and Rasa’s wedding there was no need to pin it down to any one detail, it simply was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me share this with you all.
