A day with soft golden light shining through the leaves of trees soon to turn yellow and orange. The smell of wood fires in the air. Autumn must be the perfect time of the year for a Babington House wedding. Upstairs Emma was getting her hair pinned up and alternating between clapping her hands from excitement and beaming from one ear to the other. Downstairs her mum was clutching Mike’s hand and it was hard to tell who was more nervous.
Emma looked son insanely happy all day, clad in a fantastic Delphine Manivet dress, a pair of sparkly Loboutins on her feet. Spending time with her and Mike has been on the top of my list ever since we escaped a herd of cows in the Cotswolds together and sharing their wedding day with them was something extra special. Babington House in all its splendour was the perfect venue for this Autumnal do and the incredible flowers by Bramble & Wild at least as good as they looked.
A big thank you goes to my wonderful friend Kate for helping me out on the day and the amazing people at Babington House for taking such good care of us. All shot on Kodak Portra 400, Fuji 400H and Tri-X. Developed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.
