Goosebumps and sheep, lush green fields and the sun casting a golden light across the mountains as it sets. That’s how I remember Anwen and Myrddin’s wedding. The goosebumps came when the choir (where Anwen and Myrddin first met) started an a capella Welsh version of “The Prayer” whilst they were signing the register. The sheep were everywhere as they got married on Anwen’s family sheep farm – including a “guess the name of the sheep” featuring two woolly guests. The teepee stood in a lush green field on the bottom of the farm giving a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains of Snowdonia.
What started of as a wet grey morning ended up being a most glorious day of full on Welsh happiness. This was my first properly Welsh wedding and well, I loved it! With Shutterbox Films by my side and the sun in my back I couldn’t get enough of happy smiley guests and the loveliest couple on that Saturday in September, Anwen and Myrddin.
All shot on Kodak Portra 400 and Tri-X, developed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.
